Movember is an international awareness action regarding the men’s health in taboo areas such as: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention and physical inactivity. The goal is, besides raising consciousness, to obtain funds to support and help institutions devoted to fight those diseases.
Citizens and organizations can sign up on the Movember Foundation website and take part. Nowadays, individuals and groups from 21 countries are, actively, taking part.

History of Movember
A young group of Aussies began Movember in 2003 – the name came from the contraction of the words moustache and November -. Known as the 30 originals, the group wanted to show their support to a friend who was suffering from prostate cancer. In 2004, the Foundation began its activity.
